Where are you based?
I am based in Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, RSA
How many photos will I get?
I don't have a set number of mages that I deliver - it is the quality of the moments captured that I focus on. But I tend to shoot between 50 - 80 photos per hour, so you can expect, for example, at least 300 photos for a 6 hour wedding.
Can we meet before the wedding day?
AbsoLUTEly! It is so important for us to meet, connect and discuss more details in person/ over video call. It is also NB for me that we get comfortable with one another so you are at ease with me capturing your special moments - I want you to be able to relax and enjoy yourself. If we can't have an actual coffee date, we can still have a virtual one!
Flash or natural light?
BOTH. I love shooting in natural light (Especially interesting light like dappled tree shade or light coming in through a window/passage/doorway).
Natural light helps keep the feeling and ambience of the actual moment alive in the photos - but I do also enjoy to use flash, particularly when it gets dark or things go indoors. Or to expose for subject and sunset!
How would you describe your style?
Natural, emotive, unscripted/documentary with a dash of editorial.
Each story is unique & I aim to capture each one in a way that best represents and preserves its essence.
What ratio of B&W to colour images do you deliver?
I adore Black & White, so I often deliver +- 50/50 but you can let me know your preference.
How & when do we receive our photos?
It depends on your shoot!
But my general time-frame is 2-3 weeks for a smaller shoot, and 4-8 for a full wedding investment. (Or once the wedding Album/Photobook is ready).
Sneak-peaks are ready within 48-72 hours.
Images will be delivered in .Jpg format, with copies in HR and print res. (No RAW images delivered)
What is your cancellation policy?
Booking fees/deposits are non-refundable (unless I cancel) but I am here for you and will do my best to accommodate you as far as my schedule allows for rain-checks etc.
Your story is important and I am all for dropping expectations & making every effort to create something beautiful together, despite the imperfect or unexpected.
Will you share my photos on socials?
All photos remain my creative property, so yes, I will use some. However, I value your privacy & will not post anything I am asked not to.
